Beckers gold-rated by EcoVadis

Beckers work within Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been awarded the highest ranking.

In June 2018, Beckers Group received its first gold rating for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance by EcoVadis, an online platform that benchmarks more than 30,000 companies yearly.

EcoVadis experts independently assessed and validated Beckers CSR performance in four core areas: Environment, Fair Business Practices, Labour Practices & Human Rights, and Sustainable Procurement. The gold standard is the highest rating level awarded to any company and positions Beckers within the top 5% in the category Manufacture of paints, varnishes and similar coatings.

“It is becoming more apparent that sustainability is a very important aspect when choosing a supplier and, in many cases, may even be decisive as to whether or not a deal is made”, says Nicklas Augustsson, Beckers’ Global Sustainability Director. “Our customers and other stakeholders demand that we operate responsibly and that we are clear and transparent in our sustainability work.”

Beckers Group has been working with EcoVadis since 2013 and has conducted three assessments in four years.
