Rudene Irwin

Rudene Irwin serves as Global R&D Systems and Data Project Specialist, based in Vereeniging, South Africa. She joined Beckers in 2016 from a petrochemical background, completely new to coatings. The company supported her development through paint chemistry qualifications, leading to her promotion to Process Chemist. In 2024, she was selected as a Super User and data custodian for the AX team, which sparked her interest in data analysis and management. This experience helped her transition from a largely local role to functioning effectively in global multi-disciplinary teams. Her current position allows her to create capabilities that help the R&D community focus on sustainable developments while working more efficiently.
